HP coaching seminar, Canmore, May 3-5, 2019: registrations now open to Comp-Intro (L2T) trained coaches

    Sign up now for this cannot miss event! Drawing together Nordic ski coaches from across the country we will explore, examine and address some of the current challenges and opportunities in developing and preparing elite cross-country skiers.

    We are thrilled to confirm the participation of Pål Gunnar Mikkelsplass, former succesful Norwegian cross-country ski team skier who competed from 1981 to 1997. Nowadays has become somewhat of a legend in the coaching world also and one of the most sought after coaches in Norway; known for most recently working with Therese Johaug.


    Coaches have two options for signing up for all or part of the workshop:

    OPTION "A": Full seminar with a social dinner Friday night $300, final deadline April 21st.

    Participant eligibility: Open to coaches with xc ski Comp-Intro (L2T) TRAINED status or above, or biathlon coaches with a Comp Dev IN TRAINING status or above by the 24th of April, 2019. Developing coaches may need to plan upcoming workshops accordingly.

    OPTION "B" (open to all!): Opening workshop - Includes Friday night presentation "Identifying the Gaps" (Nicolas Lemyre, PHD) and dinner/social + Saturday morning presentation "Developing Better People and Better Athletes Through Coaching"  (Professor Jean Côté) ($60). Final deadline April 21st.
