    Teck Regional Snow Camp Okanagan Report

    Conditions were excellent at Silver Star with 40 cm of fresh snow. Thirty Young Skiers took part in our snow camp at Silver Star Mountain. Twenty Eight skiers were 9-14 years old. Seventeen were Female while Thirteen were Male. None of this would not have been possible without the volunteer staff of cooks Scott Davis, Louise Myshak, Aaron Myshak-Davis and General help from Trent Marshal, Gord McInnes, Bonnie Lachapelle, Wendy Wickstrom and Jill Stamp. Also, a big thank you to our coaches Emily Moreal, Darren Derochie, Matt Smider, Paul Shipley, James Williams and Adam Elliot. Thank You to everyone who helped make this possible!

    Athletes participated in a variety of activities including Capture the Flag, Sardines, Classic Technique, Skate Technique, Video review, Watching the Canmore World Cup and talking about strategies, Goal Setting, Creating Race Plans, executing race plans during a fun relay race event and evaluation of their Race Plans after racing was complete.
