Midget Championships

(1) bring young skiers together for a weekend of cross-country ski competition and fun;
(2) encourage achievement through team effort; 
(3) encourage good ski technique. 

If your division has a Midget Championships on its calendar, encourage your club to send a team.  If your division does not offer this event, perhaps your club would consider hosting it!

This year, most divisions will host a Midget Championships. This event gives skiers between 10 and 13 years of age the opportunity to participate in high quality races in a relaxed atmosphere among friends. In addition it allows young athletes to live a real “sport fraternity” experience, and is a great opportunity to develop racers.
