Para-Nordic training camps, clinics and try-it opportunities are offered across the country each season. Training Camps give developing athletes the opportunity to work with Para-Nordic specific coaches, be mentored by higher level athletes and train in a group setting. These camp opportunities are very important for the development of the sport in Canada. Camps may be offered regionally by clubs/divisions or in a cooperative effort with Cross Country Canada. Clinics and try-it opportunities are generally organized locally and offer a chance for Para-Nordic skiers who are just beginning to learn about the sport.
National Para-Nordic Recruitment and Development Camp
A camp opportunity for the recrutiment and introduction of new Para-Nordic athletes and for more experienced Para-Nordic athletes to be mentored by coaches form across the country including Robin McKeever, Head coach of the Para-Nordic National Ski Team. CCC is the main sponsor of this camp in partnership with CCC Divisions.
