National Ski Team Background:
Graham started training in his hometown of Parry Sound at Georgian Nordic coached by Peter Wiltmann. Two years ago, he moved to Thunder Bay to join the National Team Development Centre. Last season, Graham was able to ski to a 12th place finish in the skate sprint at the World Junior Championships which earned him a spot on the National Ski Team.

Introduction to Cross-Country Skiing:
Graham’s parents put him on skis for the first time when he was around five years old. He joined his local jackrabbit program in Parry Sound, and have been skiing since then. It wasn’t until Grade 11 that he decided he wanted to train full-time and put all of his focus into racing. Unlike most skiers Graham talked to, he never followed the World Cup or knew anything about the elite level of skiing for the first few years when he started racing. He really didn’t base his inspirations off of that, and just knew that he loved the sport.

 Personal:
Outside of skiing, growing up in Parry Sound gave Graham the opportunity to be involved in a bunch of different activates such as hockey, snowmobiling, golfing, wakeboarding, boating and so many more fun things! He is currently taking Business at Confederation College in Thunder Bay.
