    1) Feb. 21- Mar. 3 World Ski Championships, Seefeld, Austria

A 10 member team, will be representing Canada at the World Ski Championships, with the main racing action starting on Thursday in Seefeld.

The veteran on the Women's team will be Emily Nishikawa. Emily was racing to a top 20 finish in last weekend's World Cup, before a bad fall caused her to abandon the race. She will lead a quartet of younger skiers, that have been building up their international experience and results including Dahria Beatty, Maya Macisaac-Jones, Katherine Stewart-Jones, and Cendrine Browne. This group has come together well over the last few years and should be ready to put together some strong performances on the trails at Seefeld.

Alex Harvey will lead the men's group, and seems to be rounding into form, based on his 10th place World Cup finish on the weekend. Russell Kennedy surprised a few people, including himself, with a 12th place skate, sprint finish on the weekend. It will be interesting to see how he does again on Thursday, in the exact same event at the Worlds.  Evan Palmer-Charrette, Scott Hill and Lenny Valjas are the other racers on the team, with Lenny, a multi World Cup medallist looking to recreate the form that gave him a 7th place finish in last year's sprint in Pyeongchang.
