      The 3rd stop on the Tour de Ski was Val Mustair, Switzerland, for a 2nd skate sprint.


      It was a nice day with temperatures just around zero, as the Canadian team got underway with their first races of 2019.

      On the women's side Dahria Beatty was the top Canadian in 39th, with Emily Nishikawa in 48th. In the final Stina Nilsson of Sweden picked up a 2nd sprint gold on the Tour, with US skier Sophie Caldwell edging out her teammate Jessie Diggins for silver.

      For the men, Alex Harvey led the Candians in 37th, followed by Bob Thompson in 62nd and Lenny Valjas in 72nd.

      Johannes Klaebo of Norway won the final, by an over 2 second victory ahead of Federico Pellegrino from Italy.

      The athletes now move to Oberstdorf, Germany, for tomorrow's 10 and 15k mass-start, classic races.
