Snow Report for Highlands Nordic, Monday, December 29 @ 4 pm

Snowmaking is progressing well and it is currently a 7/24 operation. The chalet level now has full coverage and they are currently covering the upper stadium.

The upper trails are in fair shape with full coverage of snow over a few icy patches. Some pictures of the upper trails can be found  at  http://ccski.com/2015noram/Pictures/december29.htm

A series of small squalls went through the area Monday afternoon that enhanced the snow cover.  Total accumulation was 10 cm over a two hour period.

A video clip of the snow as it was falling is located at the site noted above. The radar shows a number of bands of snow setting up and headed to the resort.

Next update will be provided at www.cccski.com on Wednesday, CCC and the organizers are optimistic the event will be run as planned.
